Cinnamon Spice Stuffed French Toast Coconut Cake!


  • 1/2 cup of half and half

  • 2 tsp of salted butter

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tbs of cinnamon 

  • 1 medium slice of Nurse Neke's Cinnamon Spiced Coconut Cake


      1.  Beat one egg until well mixed (10 seconds or less)

      2. Add your half and half and cinnamon to beaten eggs

      3. Being your non stick skillet to medium heat 

      4. Once pan is hot add in your butter 

      5. While butter is melting dip your slick of cake into mixture making sure to coat the cake fast (Do not let cake soak in mixture like traditional french toast made with bread)

      6. Place a slice of your Nurse Neke's Coconut Cake in the skillet bottom side down for 2 minutes. 

      7. Turn cake to the side and get the edges of the cake about 30-45 seconds for all 4 sides

      8. Turn the cake over so that the top of the cake is now face down in the skillet for 2 minutes. 

      9. Plate, top with powdered sugar and your choice of syrup or whip cream.
